Brighton Pride seeks new trustees |

 Do you want to have more of a say in the running of Pride in Brighton & Hove? The organization – a registered charity – is now looking for new trustees to join its board. As a trustee, you will make decisions that will determine the future of the charity and have responsibility for ensuring Pride fulfils its charitable objectives and other legal obligations. The Board of Pride in Brighton & Hove – which has 14 trustees - sits once a month but the commitment and time required from Trustees is a likely to be considerably greater.

 Hackney Pride is a new, small pride event that has been organized by a voluntary community group in response to the rise of homophobic and transphobic attacks in the east London borough. The march will take place on Saturday 4th September 2010 – beginning at the community space outside the Learning Trust/Hackney Library at 2pm and ending up at St Leonard’s Church, Shoreditch an hour later. Organisers are hoping to attract between 200-300 people for the event.

Gorgeous gay couples wanted |

 Gay couples are being sought by BBC3 to take part in a new TV series about “gorgeous couples”. The programme makes are specifically looking for couples (gay or straight) who are proud to say that they are the best-looking couple that they know.
“We are looking for gorgeous couples to take part in a brand new series. We want competitive couples who think they’ve got what it takes to win our special prize.”
