Dame Vivienne Westwood at RVT

westwoodIt’s been confirmed that iconic fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Little Britain star Matt Lucas are to grace the stage of London’s famed Royal Vauxhall Tavern. They will be the guests of comic Scott Capurro, who is returning to the venue for another run of his on-stage chat show, Scott Capurro’s Position.

Following a successful run last year – which included such guests as Graham Norton, Julian Clary and Ken Livingstone – Scott’s new series of shows will kick off on Thursday 1 April 2010, and will run each Thursday through until to 6 May. Scott will mix up stand-up and music with live interviews of some household names. Confirmed appearances include Matt Lucas (1 April), politician George Galloway and actor Russell Tovey (8 April), Jane Turner (from Kath & Kim) and Dame Vivienne Westwood (15 April), Ivan Massow and Nicholas de Jongh (22 April), Brit Ekland and Victor Spinetti (29 April) and Jimmy Carr and Stephen Merchant (6 May), amongst others.

All the shows are sure to be popular, so if you wish to attend, you’d be wise to book tickets in advance. These cost £9 and can be obtained by calling 020 7820 1222.
