The G-A-Y Bouncers As You’ve Never Seen Them Before

unnamedG-A-Y's bouncers have been given a special Pride makeover by Smirnoff, complete with rainbow-coloured sparkles.

Festival goers at this weekend's Pride In London celebrations will be greeted by the newly colourful bouncers at London's G-A-Y club. Smirnoff have created rainbow coloured jackets to celebrate the festival's spirit of inclusivity.

As Tracy Louise Crampton-Miller and Terrence Thompson open the doors of G-A-Y this weekend, Smirnoff invite the fabulous variety of partygoers to take a photo with them and be in with the chance of having their face take pride of place on a digital billboard in Soho during the Saturday evening celebrations. The first of its kind LGBT jacket plays a part in the brand's 'We're Open' campaign which celebrates inclusivity and openness.

Tracy Louise Crampton-Miller says: "I've been a bouncer for many years and have worked Pride for the past six, this year being my seventh. The atmosphere on Pride day is always amazingly vibrant and fun. It's also fantastic to see how far we have come along in the LGBT community with people now openly celebrating being 'Out and proud'. I shall wear this rainbow jacket with Pride on the day and it will most certainly spice up my boring black uniform and get me into the spirit of things."

Julie Bramham, Marketing Director for Smirnoff Western Europe, says: "Smirnoff has been a proud supporter of LGBT for over 18 years and this year we are continuing to show our support at Pride. We commissioned these jackets to reward some of the UK's most open and inclusive door staff and Tracy and Terrence were a perfect fit. They are the first point of contact at the G-A-Y doors which, like our campaign is all about letting people know that 'We're Open' to everyone."
