The best-known gay choir in Europe will perform live to shoppers in two rather unique venues this month.

Opting for Tesco Metro stores over theatres, a group from the famous London Gay Men's Chorus will take to Covent Garden and Regents Street on Saturday June 20.

The group will be performing at the Covent Garden Tesco Metro on Bedford Street from 11am to 1pm before they move on to the Tesco Metro on 17-25 Regents Street from 3pm to 5pm.

Shoppers at these Tesco Metros can expect to have a glass of sparkling wine and some special branded Pride M+M's.

Members of the LGBT advice service, Switchboard, will also be attending the musical performance to collect money and interact with customers to raise awareness for the charity.

A representative from Switchboard said: "Switchboard is delighted to partner with Tesco for London Pride. We hope that this will be the start of a long and sustainable relationship between Switchboard and Tesco."

The shows have been organised by Tesco to celebrate their involvement in this year's London Pride Parade ahead of the following weekend's events, where Tesco have their own float, running from Baker Street to Whitehall from 1pm to 4.30pm.
