Culture Club back in the studio

emh6 CultureClubbyDeanStockings 1One of the biggest bands of the 80s have leaked news that they have gone back into the studio after their successful summer shows in the UK and have confirmed a short, American tour happening later this year.

The tour is set to commence in November on the west coast and, for the first time in 14 years, all the original Culture Club band members - Mikey Craig (bass guitar), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Jon Moss (drums and percussion) and flamboyant front-man Boy George (lead vocals) - will perform together. The band have also released dates for the UK in December.

Culture Club first shot to international stardom in the 1980’s as one of the UK’s biggest exports of the 20th Century. A multi-racial band, with openly gay front-man Boy George, Culture Club was ahead of the curve. They went on to become the first group since The Beatles to have three Top Ten hits in the United States from a debut album alone, selling in excess of 100 million singles and over 50 million  albums worldwide, with top 10 hits in every country.

Tickets for their UK tour can be found here: LiveNation
