Big Gay Lifestyle Show 2012
The organizers of the Big Gay Lifestyle Show have announced that the event will return this October, following the success of its inaugural outing last autumn. The UK’s biggest indoor LGBT lifestyle event is arranged by Square Peg Media, publishers of Out In The City and g3 magazine. This year’s event will take place at Covent Garden’s Grand Connaught Rooms on Saturday 20 October, and following feedback after last year’s event, will take on a slightly different format to last year’s show.
The chief change is that admission to the day event (10am-6pm) will now be free to anyone who registers in advance on the website – www.biggaylifestyleshow.comIn addition to the market stalls and entertainment that proved so popular last year, this year’s event will feature a ‘Community Zone’, focusing on charities, helplines and support groups, and an ‘Experts Clinic’, offering legal, family and sexual health advice. There will also be a 'London Gay Games 2018 Sports Zone', featuring some of ther LGBT sporting groups and clubs that are campaigning for London to host the 2018 Gay Games. There will be art exhibitions and installations, plus family-friendly games and activities for those who wish to bring children. There will also be a fully stocked bar and food on sale throughout the day.
