hallmark cardOne of the most well-known creators of greetings cards in the world, Hallmark have produced a range of Father’s Day e-cards – including one for any children that have two dads. The adorably cute ‘I’ll Take Two’ cartoon clip features a young girl buying not one but two ‘World’s Greatest Dad’ mugs for Father’s Day, which she then presents to her dads. On the sideboard of the living room is a family photo of the men and girl, reinforcing the message that this is a same-sex household.

Film: East End Film Festival

eee getting goThe East End of London has a thriving gay scene, so it’s no surprise that this year’s East End Film Festival (13-25 June 2014) harbours several gay films among its diverse programme. Screening in partnership with gay film festival Fringe!, the European Premiere of Getting Go, The Go Doc Project (Rio Cinema, Friday 20 June) is one such highlight. A tale of cyber-obsession and lust on New York’s gay scene [pictured], it focuses on a college graduate and his attempts to woo a hot go-go dancer on the pretext of making a documentary.
