Boylexe back at Shadow Lounge

boylexe2Those cheeky Boylexe boys have announced a new clutch of summer dates in London. After last year’s series of sell-out shows, Boylexe returns on 4 July 2014 to resume its twice monthly residency at the new-look Shadow Lounge in Soho. It’s aimed, says creator and promoter Howard Wilmot, at “thinking girls and gay men who want a raucous, fun Friday night out but with a dash of brains, balls and sexiness.”

Film review: Walking On Sunshine

walking on sunshineHaving finished her university exams, Taylor (Hannah Arterton), returns to Puglia in Italy – the scene of a previous holiday romance – when summoned by her fly-by-night sister, Maddie (Annabel Scholey). Maddie is supposedly on a “Man-Tox”, to get over an on/off relationship with older boyfriend, Doug (Greg Wise). However, the moment she arrived in Italy she fell for local boy, Raf (Giulio Berruti) and the two plan to marry – but to Taylor’s horror, Raf was the man she fell for three years earlier! Will the wedding go ahead? Or will Taylor and Raf rekindle their flame for one another?
